Join us for a virtual cooking class celebrating Italian home cooking as a tradition rooted in memory, care, and conviviality, learn choosing the right sauce for every pasta shape with an expert.

Hosted by Marialucia Luongo, SPSCA member and Perugia resident, this webinar honors the cucina di casa passed down through generations, simple, flavorful, and timeless. In A ogni pasta il suo sugo (“For every pasta shape, its own sauce”), participants will explore one of Italy’s most iconic foods: pasta.

You will have the opportunity to examine the differences between long and short pasta shapes and how traditional sughi (sauces) are thoughtfully paired with each to enhance texture and flavor. These essential sauces are easy to learn, remember, and adapt, just perfect for everyday cooking, sharing meals with loved ones, or appreciating Italian cuisine at any table.

This class is free for our members. with registration required, please sign up using your preferred email address. The Zoom access link will be sent a few days before the class to all registered participants. Donations are welcome here and help us continue our mission of building and strengthening meaningful cultural and educational connections between our sister cities.
