Meet Our Perugia Scholars

Sunday, 9 March 2025 11:15 am - 12:45 pm

Are you thinking about applying for this year's SPSCA Scholarship to study Italian at the Università per Stranieri in Perugia? Might you be interested at some point in the future? Would you love to see gorgeous photos of our sister city and hear scholarship recipients talk about their life-enriching experiences learning Italian and soaking up the culture of Perugia? Join us at the Northeast Branch of the Seattle Public Library on Sunday, March 9, from 11:15 am to 12:45 pm for a presentation on SPSCA's flagship program, the Perugia Scholarship.

Former scholars will give brief presentations about their experiences studying in Perugia, then a member of our scholarship committee will explain the process of applying for a 2025 scholarship and what to think about if you'd like to be a strong candidate in the future (spoiler: become a member and get involved in SPSCA!). There will be plenty of time to ask questions of our scholarship recipients and committee members.

Our 2025 scholarship applications will be open from March 1-31, so this is a great moment to learn more about this life-changing program. Remember, if you think you'd like to apply in 2026, make sure your SPSCA membership is current as one year of membership is required!
