Seattle Sister Cities Soup Swap
Sunday, 08 March 2026 2:00–4:00 pm
Enjoy a warm and welcoming afternoon of community and global flavors as we celebrate International Women’s Day at the 2nd Annual Seattle Sister Cities’ Soup Sampling, sponsored by the Seattle Sister Cities Association in partnership with the National Nordic Museum. Volunteers from 10 Seattle sister cities will prepare and share traditional soups representing four continents, offering a delicious journey through culture and cuisine. Each entry includes five soup tastings, just bring your curiosity and appetite!
To help us prepare enough soup for all our guests, registration is required by March 1. Please note that walk-in admission will not be available. While donations of $10 per person are encouraged to support the Seattle Sister Cities Association’s cultural, educational, and humanitarian programs, they are optional. When reserving tickets, each donation corresponds to one admission ticket. Simply use the quantity selector to reserve tickets for additional attendees.
As an added bonus, participants will receive 50% off museum admission that day to explore the exhibits, including New Nordic: Cuisine, Aesthetics and Place. We look forward to celebrating culture, community, and connection with you!
