The Seattle Sister Cities Association recently installed a Sister Cities "signpost" in South Lake Union adjacent to MOHAI. The Sister Cities Association is planning a celebration on Saturday September 19, 2026 from 11AM - 4PM. This FREE event is open to the public and planned as a day to bring our citizens together to celebrate the mission of our 20 Seattle sister cities and the diverse cultures of our city. The event will feature ethnic food, music, dance, activities and games. The mayor, city council members and other dignitaries will be on hand to help kick things off.

Our Seattle-Perugia Sister City Association will have a booth showcasing performance art from Sanford & Gosti, a demonstration of technology innovation from companies with operations in Seattle and Umbria, a DJ performance of contemporary Italian dance music and artisinal crafted espresso coffee drinks by our long time partner and supporter Caffè Umbria.
